“The best intro to the island.”

The best intro to the island.

It was our first time in Aruba, and we’re so glad we did this early in our trip. In half a day, we saw beautiful beaches, incredible rock formations, and a completely different side of the island from our hotel. Our guide helped us get our bearings and figure out which places we wanted to come back to. We finished the morning feeling like our Aruba vacation had really begun.

“Just us. No strangers.”

Just us. No strangers.

When they say private, they really mean private. The van was just for our family, and we never had to wait for another group or work around someone else’s plans. We could ask questions, change our minds, and take our time without feeling like we were holding anybody up. It felt like our own little adventure together.

“Nothing like the big bus tours.”

Nothing like the big bus tours.

We’ve done the big bus tours before, and this was such a different experience. No waiting for everyone to get back on board, no being rushed through a place we actually wanted to enjoy. We had a comfortable, air-conditioned van and a guide who could focus on what interested us. For our group, having the whole experience to ourselves was absolutely worth it. We felt spoiled.

“We picked the stops. We set the pace.”

We picked the stops. We set the pace.

We had a few places we really wanted to see, and our guide helped us put them together into a route that made sense. What I loved was that choosing our stops didn’t lock us into a rigid schedule. We could linger somewhere beautiful or move on when we were ready. We even changed a couple of things along the way, and it was never a problem. It actually felt like our day.

“Door to door, zero hassle.”

Door to door, zero hassle.

They picked us up right where we were staying and brought us back afterward. No figuring out taxis, renting a car, or spending the morning staring at directions on a phone. We just settled into the air conditioning and enjoyed seeing the island. Getting to explore so much without having to organize every little thing was exactly what we wanted from a vacation.

“Like a friend showing us around.”

Like a friend showing us around.

Our guide made this so much more than a drive between sightseeing stops. It was the stories, the little details we would have missed, and being able to ask about anything that caught our eye. We got tips on places to eat and things to do later in our trip, too. By the end, it felt less like we’d taken a tour and more like someone had welcomed us to their island.

A little peace of mind, before paradise…

The private tour experience
What is the Private Aruba Van Tour?

A private sightseeing day in Aruba with your own air-conditioned van and local driver-guide. Choose a 4–8-hour tour, your start time and the places you want to see. Pickup and drop-off are included.

Is the tour completely private, even for just one or two people?

Yes. The van and driver-guide are for your booking only. Other groups and strangers are not added to your tour.

Who is the tour best suited to?

The private format suits couples, families, friends, cruise visitors and first-time visitors who want their own pace. Stops can be chosen around your interests rather than a shared group’s schedule. Specific mobility and child-seat needs must be checked separately.

What makes this different from a big bus tour?

Your van and guide are reserved just for your group. You choose the places, pace and start time, without waiting for another booking or following a shared coach itinerary. Stay longer when you love a place, skip a stop that does not interest you, or let your guide suggest the route.

Should we choose a private tour or rent a car?

A private tour includes a local driver-guide and door-to-door transport, so nobody in your group has to navigate, park or drive. A rental car can suit people who prefer independent exploring over several days. Choose the tour if you would enjoy local guidance and an outing organized around you; the best value depends on your plans and group size.

Is this a good introduction to Aruba for a first visit?

Yes. You can combine coast, landmarks, rock formations, beaches and town stops to get a feel for Aruba in half a day. A typical 4-hour tour allows roughly 4–6 stops; it does not cover every attraction on the island.

Who sells and coordinates the tour?

Aruba Sightseeing Tours is by Aruba Your Way, the team coordinating your private tour and booking.

Choosing your kind of day
Can we book without choosing any stops?

Yes. Choose Book My Tour and leave the stops undecided. You can ask the guide to suggest a route or decide together on the day.

Can the guide choose all the stops for us?

Yes. Tell us what interests you, or simply let your guide help you choose a day that fits your booked time. Advance itinerary design is optional.

Can we focus on beaches instead of history or sightseeing?

Yes. Your private tour can focus on beach stops and time by the water. Longer swims leave time for fewer other stops.

Can we focus on history, architecture, street art or local culture?

Yes. The stop list includes Oranjestad, San Nicolas, Alto Vista Chapel and Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, among other options. Tell us your interests when planning the route.

Can we combine sightseeing with swimming?

Yes. You can mix sightseeing stops with time at a beach during the booked tour. Travel and time at the beach must fit into the same 4–8-hour booking.

Can we make this a photography-focused tour?

Yes. You can choose photogenic stops and spend longer at the places you enjoy. Sunset timing and access need to be planned around the date and route; a particular light or weather effect cannot be promised.

Can we avoid shopping stops and commercial attractions?

Yes. There are no compulsory shopping stops, and we have no commission or kickback agreements with attractions for bringing you there. Choose only the places that interest you. If you leave the route to us, we focus on the island highlights that suit your group, rather than adding shopping detours.

Can different members of our group have different interests?

Yes. We can mix different interests or temporarily split the group when the distances and timing work. For example, some guests can relax at a beach while the others visit nearby sights, then meet up again. Agree on the meeting place and time with your guide. A driver-guide cannot accompany both subgroups at once; parents or responsible adults must arrange supervision for children. If the two groups want completely different parts of the island, ask about separate vans.

Is the van tour the right choice if we want the Natural Pool?

No. The Natural Pool is not a stop on the van tour. We also offer private Jeep tours that can take you there.

Can you combine a van tour with a Jeep tour, yacht cruise, spa visit or another service?

Yes. to coordinate consecutive activities or different activities for members of the same group. Each service is a separate booking with its own price, availability and cancellation terms. A van tour does not automatically include a Jeep tour, cruise, spa treatment or transfer. See our private Jeep tour options and private yacht cruises.

Jeep tours & yacht cruises
Can we visit the Natural Pool or explore more of Arikok National Park?

Our van tour can visit Quadirikiri Cave and Fontein Cave inside Arikok. It does not visit the Natural Pool (Conchi) or the park’s other off-road locations. If you would like to explore those places, we also offer private Jeep tours with a local guide and a route tailored to your group.

Private Jeep options for a 4-hour tour, in USD:

  • Air-conditioned Jeep, up to 4 passengers: $440 for the private group.
  • Open-air safari Jeep, up to 6 passengers: $440 for up to 4 people, plus $50 for each additional passenger.
  • Open-air safari Jeep, up to 9 passengers: $599 for up to 6 people, plus $50 for each additional passenger.

Add 9% tax and card fee to these tour prices. Arikok admission is separate: $22 per paying visitor, paid at the park entrance. One park admission covers both caves and other included park locations; it is not charged separately at each stop.

The tour is completely private and customizable, with free island-wide pickup and drop-off. A Jeep opens up rugged park routes and the Natural Pool; the exact route and any swimming depend on park access and sea conditions. Longer outings can be arranged.

Jeep tours require at least 24 hours’ notice. Payment is due 24 hours before the tour; changes or cancellations are free before that cutoff. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged in full.

with your date, group size and the places you would love to see. We’ll help choose the Jeep and confirm availability and the total. Jeep tours are booked separately from the van tour.

Do you offer private cruises or yacht charters in Aruba?

Yes! We also offer a private cruise aboard a 47-foot (approximately 14-meter) motor yacht for up to 12 guests. The yacht is reserved for your group, with no strangers sharing your cruise. Choose a morning, afternoon or sunset outing, subject to availability, and enjoy coastal sightseeing, sunbathing, snorkeling or fishing.

Private yacht cruise prices in USD:

  • 3 hours: $1,500 for up to 6 guests, plus $50 for each additional guest.
  • 4 hours: $1,700 for up to 6 guests, plus $60 for each additional guest.
  • 5 hours: $1,900 for up to 6 guests, plus $70 for each additional guest.
  • 6 hours: $2,100 for up to 6 guests, plus $80 for each additional guest.

Add 9% tax and card fee to these prices. The cruise includes a mixed platter, spirits and local beer, mixers, juice, water and ice. Snorkeling and fishing equipment are available on request – tell us what you would like to do when arranging your cruise.

Cruises have a 72-hour payment and cancellation cutoff, which is different from our van tours. Reserve with a credit card; payment is due 72 hours before departure. Changes and cancellations are free before that cutoff; cancellations within 72 hours are charged in full. If the cruise is canceled because of unsafe weather, you can reschedule at no extra cost or receive a full refund.

with your date, group size, preferred duration and departure time. We’ll confirm availability, the departure point, your plans and the full price. Yacht cruises are booked separately from the van tour.

Tour length & start times
How long can the private van tour be?

Choose 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 hours. The standard online tour has a 4-hour minimum and an 8-hour maximum.

Can we book fewer than four hours?

The standard private van tour has a 4-hour minimum. For a transport-only ride, Aruba Airport Transfers is a separate service.

Can we book more than eight hours or a half-hour increment?

The online choices are whole hours from 4 to 8. We do not offer half-hour increments. If you would like more than 8 hours, contact us for a custom arrangement and quote; a longer day can include a lunch stop of your choice. Meal costs and time at lunch must be considered when planning the day.

What time can our tour start?

You choose the pickup time that suits your day. A late morning or afternoon start is fine; most guests start between 9 am and 2 pm. Very early or evening outings can also be arranged. Choose timing that lets you reach any must-see attraction during its visiting hours.

Can we start at 1 pm instead of early in the morning?

Yes. A 1 pm start is an option. A 4-hour booking would run to 5 pm and a 5-hour booking to 6 pm, with the actual route planned around attraction access and closing times.

Can we start at sunrise or as early as 5 am?

Yes, a start as early as 5 am can be arranged. Tell us what you want to do so the route suits the light and opening hours. Early pickup does not mean staffed attractions will already be open.

Can we book an evening tour or a 6 pm start?

Yes. Evening and late-night outings are possible by arrangement, including a restaurant or bar-hopping itinerary. Contact us with the time and plan you have in mind. Many natural sights and staffed attractions cannot be visited as daytime sightseeing stops after dark, so we will help choose an appropriate route.

Can we time the tour around sunset?

Yes. Tell us that sunset is a priority so the team can suggest suitable timing and stops for your date. Do not assume the same sunset time throughout the year.

Which time zone should we use for booking?

Enter the pickup time in Aruba local time. The booking system uses America/Aruba, UTC−04:00, rather than the time zone on your phone or your home address.

Why does the pickup-time picker use 15-minute intervals?

The online booking accepts minutes 00, 15, 30 and 45. Choose the closest suitable pickup time or contact the team about a special timing requirement.

When does the paid tour time start and finish?

Your booked time runs from pickup at your chosen location to the final drop-off. Driving, sightseeing, swimming, meal breaks and any waiting you request all fall within that time. With multiple pickups, the clock starts at the first pickup and ends at the last drop-off. Please be ready at the agreed time, since waiting for your group can reduce the time available for sightseeing.

Do you operate every day, on holidays and during Carnival?

We operate daily, including holidays, subject to available vans and guides. Christmas, New Year's Day and Carnival can be especially limited, so book early. There is no standard holiday surcharge. Road closures and events can require changes to pickup arrangements or the route.

Make it your ownStops, route ideas & the tour builder
Your route & what fits
How many stops are suggested for a four-hour tour?

Around 4–6 stops is the planning guide for a 4-hour tour. Driving distances, walking, swimming, queues and time spent at each place determine what actually fits.

How many stops are suggested for five, six, seven or eight hours?

The builder suggests 5–8 stops for 5 hours, 6–10 for 6 hours, 7–12 for 7 hours and 8–14 for 8 hours. These are planning ranges, not a promise to complete a fixed number of stops.

Does selecting a stop guarantee that we will visit it?

The selected stops are your wish list. The guide helps arrange a route that works with your time, distances, conditions and attraction access. The map and price quote do not verify opening hours or route feasibility.

Can we select more or fewer stops than suggested?

Yes. The suggested count is guidance. You can choose a few places and stay longer, or submit a longer wish list for the team to help prioritize. The booking does not require a minimum number of selected stops.

Can we change the route during the tour?

Yes. You can stay longer, skip a stop or change your mind within your booked time, with your guide helping arrange the route.

Can we request a place that is not among the 25 cards?

Yes. Tell us the place in the booking notes or contact the team. It must be somewhere the van can safely reach and that fits the tour.

Do we have to visit the stops in the order we selected them?

The builder records your selected places, not a guaranteed driving order. Your guide helps organize a sensible route.

Can we see both ends of Aruba in four hours?

It is possible to travel between the island's northern and southern areas in 4 hours, but much of that time will be spent driving. For several proper stops and a relaxed pace, we recommend 6–8 hours. If you have only 4 hours, concentrating on one area usually gives you more time out of the van.

Can we visit the caves and swim at Baby Beach on the same tour?

Yes. The two caves and Baby Beach can be combined, but on a 4-hour tour they would normally be the two main visits, with limited time for anything else. Pickup location, park access and how long you want to swim all matter. Choose a longer tour for a more relaxed day, and visit the park early enough to meet its entry and cave-visiting hours.

How long are the drives between the main stops?

These are the team's approximate driving times in ordinary traffic, without sightseeing stops:

  • Palm Beach to California Lighthouse: about 15 minutes
  • California Lighthouse to Baby Beach: about 1 hour
  • Cruise terminal to Bushiribana: about 20–25 minutes
  • Cruise terminal to the caves: about 45 minutes
  • Caves to Baby Beach: about 30 minutes

Treat them as planning estimates, not appointment times. Traffic, roadworks, route choice and park entry can change the journey.

How much time should we allow at each stop?

You decide how long you would like to stay. A quick photo stop might take 10 minutes, while a typical sightseeing visit often takes around 20–30 minutes. A swim can easily take 60–90 minutes or longer. Both caves, attraction tours and a climb such as Hooiberg need more allowance than a quick photo stop, including walking and access time. Agree on a meeting time with your guide and adjust the rest of the route if you choose to linger.

Will the guide help us prioritize if our wish list is too ambitious?

Yes. Helping make the route work is part of the private-tour experience. You can tell the team which places matter most and which are optional.

Playing with the tour builder
Can we play with the builder without booking anything?

Yes. Build My Tour is optional and creates no reservation or payment obligation. You can browse, choose a duration and stops, and see your island plan without booking.

Do you see the itinerary while we are just playing with it?

The builder does not send us your itinerary as a booking while you browse. Your selected stops are sent with your booking only if you choose to submit it.

How do we add or remove stops?

Open Build My Tour, choose a duration, then browse the cards and use Add to my tour. Selected cards can be deselected before booking.

Can we swipe the cards or use buttons instead?

Yes. You can swipe through the cards or use the previous/next controls. Tapping Add to my tour selects the stop; swiping alone does not select it.

What happens when we choose See My Tour?

The same overlay shows your map and selected stops. You can continue with Book my tour or use the text links to change stops or tour length.

Can we add more time while choosing stops?

Yes. The builder lets you adjust duration within the 4–8-hour range, and its suggested stop count changes with the duration. Your actual group price appears in the booking flow.

Does the map show turn-by-turn directions or an exact travel schedule?

No. The illustrated map helps visualize your selected places. It is not a navigation map, an optimized route or a guarantee of travel time.

Are the tour illustrations actual photographs of your guides, vans or the places?

The tour-page artwork and stop cards use AI-generated illustrations, not documentary photographs of the team or a guarantee of a specific vehicle. The landmark illustrations are based on recognizable places, but do not promise the exact weather, light, crowds or facilities on your visit.

Will our tour plan still be there if we close or reload the page?

Closing and reopening the overlay in the same page session preserves the plan. The builder does not provide a saved account or a durable itinerary saved across reloads or devices.

Can we save, print or share a plan before booking?

Before booking, take screenshots if you want to keep or share your plan. The current builder does not offer an account, permanent saved itinerary or shareable saved-plan link. Once you book, the selected stops are included in your confirmation email, which you can save, print or forward.

Ideas for your island day
What would a four-hour north-coast highlights tour look like?

From Palm Beach, one north-coast idea is California Lighthouse, Alto Vista Chapel, Casibari, Bushiribana and Natural Bridge & Baby Bridge. Ayo can be an extra or a substitute if timing allows. If a morning swim at Tres Trapi matters more, start there and reduce the other stops, for example by leaving out the chapel or choosing only one rock formation. The guide will choose an efficient order and preserve time for the return; this is a flexible example, not a five- or six-stop guarantee.

What would an afternoon sightseeing-and-sunset tour look like?

For an afternoon ending near sunset, choose a manageable set of north/coast sights, such as a short Oranjestad visit, one rock formation and the Bushiribana/Natural Bridge area, then finish near California Lighthouse. Ask us to match pickup to sunset on your date. A southern alternative can focus on San Nicolas, the Red Anchor and a beach, with other short stops if time allows. Do not add the caves to a late-afternoon plan without checking park entry and visiting hours first.

What would a four-hour cruise-port highlights tour look like?

A useful northern route from the cruise port can combine Eagle Beach, either Casibari or Ayo, Bushiribana and Natural Bridge & Baby Bridge. Alto Vista can be added if time remains. Alternatively, make the caves and either Baby Beach or Sero Colorado the two main outings, allowing more driving and fewer stops. Choose around your actual port hours, and protect the agreed all-aboard buffer before adding anything else.

What would a south-and-east tour with the caves look like?

For a southern/eastern day from Palm Beach or the port, discuss Mangel Halto or San Nicolas, then the two caves through the park access route your guide recommends, and Baby Beach or Rodgers Beach afterward. The team commonly approaches the caves from the San Nicolas/Vader Piet side for the van. A focused version may fit in 4–5 hours; 6–8 hours gives more room for both caves, a meaningful swim and extra southern stops. Enter the park early enough for both caves, and make Sero Colorado or other extras optional rather than promising everything.

What would a beaches-and-snorkeling day look like?

For 4 hours, keep the beach plan focused: Boca Catalina and Arashi can provide proper time by the water, with Tres Trapi as a substitute or additional stop if conditions and timing suit. You may prefer to skip Malmok or a beach near your hotel rather than keep moving. With 5–6 hours, you can discuss Eagle Beach or Surfside for a meal and swim, or a farther stop at Mangel Halto. Choose priorities: longer swims mean fewer beaches. Standard masks, snorkels and towels are included; in-water guiding is separate.

What would a family-focused day with young children look like?

With younger children, one or two animal/nature attractions and a relaxed beach stop are often more enjoyable than trying to visit every animal attraction. One paid option such as Butterfly Farm, the free Donkey Sanctuary and a suitable beach can make a varied day, subject to the driving distances and opening times. Short ruins or rock-formation visits are alternatives. If the caves are the priority, make them a major part of the day and reduce the other stops. Ostrich Farm is paid, not a free attraction, and all swimming needs appropriate supervision.

What can we realistically see on an eight-hour whole-island tour?

Eight hours lets you combine more of the island without making every stop a quick photo. Choose your main priorities first, such as northern coast sights, the caves and a southern beach, then leave room for lunch and the return drive. The team suggests options such as Huchada Bakery for a local bite, or a beach-side lunch at Baby Beach or Surfside. Both caves plus a long swim and lunch still require tradeoffs, so this is not a promise to see all 25 places.

Prices & what’s includedYour total, little extras & attraction tickets
Your price, explained
What is the starting price?

The base price is $399 for 4 hours for up to 3 adults. With the 9% tax and card fee and our whole-dollar round-down rule, the total is $434 USD. Attraction entry fees are separate.

Is the price per person or for our private group?

The quote is the total for your private group, calculated from tour length and the number of adults. It is not a per-person starting price. One, two or three adults pay the same base price.

How is the tour price calculated?

Before the 9% addition: $399 + $100 for each hour beyond four + $25 × the number of adults beyond three × all booked tour hours. Add 9%, then round the final amount down to a whole US dollar.

What does each additional tour hour cost?

Before the 9% addition, an extra hour adds $100 plus $25 for every adult beyond the first three. The final tour quote is recalculated and rounded down; it is not always just another $100 in total.

What does an extra adult cost?

An adult beyond the first three adds $25 per booked hour before the 9% addition. For a 4-hour tour, that is $100 before the 9% addition.

Who counts as an adult for tour pricing?

Guests aged 13 and above on the tour date count as adults for the van-tour price; children aged 0–12 have no tour fare. Every guest, including an infant, counts toward seating capacity. These fare categories are separate from attraction admission ages and child-safety or booking-consent requirements.

Do you charge cents or round to the nearest dollar?

No cents are charged in the tour quote. The final total is rounded down, not to the nearest dollar. The $399 base tour therefore totals $434, not $435.

What does a private four-hour tour cost for seven adults?

For 7 adults and 4 hours, the subtotal is $799. The rounded tax and card fee is $71, for a total of $870 USD. Attraction admission is separate.

What does a five-hour tour cost for four adults and two children?

For 4 adults and 2 children aged 0–12, a 5-hour tour has a $624 subtotal and $56 tax and card fee, totaling $680 USD. All 6 people count toward van capacity.

What does a six-hour tour cost for six adults?

For 6 adults and 6 hours, the subtotal is $1,049. The tax and card fee is $94 after rounding down, so the tour total is $1,143 USD. Attraction admission is separate.

What does an eight-hour tour cost for two adults?

For 2 adults and 8 hours, the subtotal is $799. The tax and card fee is $71, so the tour total is $870 USD.

How can we see the exact total for our group?

Choose Book My Tour and enter your tour length and passenger counts to see the complete whole-dollar USD price before entering your contact or card details. The examples in this section also show how different group sizes and durations affect the total.

What's included & what's extra
What is included in the quoted tour total?

Your quoted tour includes the private air-conditioned van, local driver-guide, standard island pickup and drop-off, fuel, parking, bottled water, a cooler with ice, beach towels, and masks and snorkels in adult and junior sizes. The standard card quote includes the 7% tax component and 2% card fee. Separate attraction admissions and optional extras are not included. See what is not included for details. Swimming and snorkeling are self-guided; the driver-guide is not an in-water guide or lifeguard.

What is not included in the tour total?

Admission at the few paid attractions is separate and shown on their location cards. Food, other drinks, personal purchases, beach-chair or umbrella rentals, optional gratuities and separately arranged activities are also your own expense. Extra tour hours cost more and depend on the van and guide being available. Standard fuel, parking, bottled water, towels, masks and snorkels are included.

What does the 9% addition cover?

The standard card quote adds 7% for Aruba taxes and 2% as the card fee, then rounds the final tour total down to a whole US dollar. For cash payment agreed in advance, the 2% card fee is removed but the 7% tax component still applies. The attraction admissions are separate.

Does “tax and card fee included” mean attraction tickets are included?

No. It describes the quoted tour total only. Admission at the few paid attractions remains separate.

Can we plan a tour with no attraction admission charges?

Yes. Most of the 25 suggested stops have no entry fee. The California Lighthouse setting is also free if you do not choose the optional tower climb. Personal purchases or rentals are separate.

Does adding a free stop increase the tour price?

Adding a stop does not itself change the tour price. The price depends on duration and adult count. A longer itinerary may require more time, and paid attractions have separate admission.

Are children free even when the group is large?

Yes. Children aged 0–12 add no tour fare, but they still need suitable seating and count toward the 10-guest limit. A larger group may need a different vehicle. Free tour fare does not mean free admission at every attraction or automatic inclusion of all requested equipment.

Are there senior, student, military, local-resident, repeat-guest or multi-day discounts?

There are no published automatic tour discounts for seniors, students, military personnel, local residents, repeat guests or multiple days. You are welcome to contact us about a particular group or several bookings; any special rate is considered individually and must be agreed before booking. Attraction discounts are separate from our tour price.

Are there holiday, early-morning, evening or peak-season surcharges?

We do not add a standard surcharge just because your tour is early, late, on a holiday or during peak season. Availability can be more limited at those times. Bespoke arrangements, a larger vehicle or additional services may require their own quote.

Can you match a marketplace price, offer a group deal or split payment between guests?

Contact us if you need a group quote, split payment, a special payment arrangement or want us to consider another advertised price. These requests are handled individually; there is no automatic price-match guarantee, discount, deposit option or split-payment feature in the standard checkout.

Attraction tickets & entry fees
Which selected stops have an entry fee?

The paid stops are Arikok National Park, The Butterfly Farm, Philip’s Animal Garden and Ostrich Farm. The California Lighthouse climb is an optional extra; visiting its setting is free. The other listed stops have no base entry fee in our current catalog.

Will we pay the park fee twice to visit both caves?

No. Fontein and Quadirikiri caves are part of one Arikok National Park visit. You pay the applicable park admission once per person, not a separate $22 for each cave.

How much is The Butterfly Farm?

The Butterfly Farm lists $19 for adults, $16 for seniors and students with ID, $10 for children aged 4–17, and free admission for children under 4. Its guided visit is included. The official visitor page does not specify the minimum senior age, so confirm that category with the farm if it affects your total. These charges are paid separately from the van tour.

How much is Philip’s Animal Garden?

Philip's Animal Garden is $10 for adults and $5 for children, paid separately from the van tour. Ask us to confirm the garden's child-age category and any infant exemption for your children's ages. Do not assume the van tour's under-13 rule applies to admission.

How much is Ostrich Farm?

Ostrich Farm lists $17 for adults and $10 for children. Admission includes the farm's guided visit, with opportunities to learn about the birds and feed them under staff direction. Its official tour page does not give a clear child-age cutoff or infant exemption; confirm those categories for your party. Plan around its scheduled guided departures rather than treating it as a quick, anytime photo stop.

How much is the California Lighthouse climb, and is it required?

Climbing California Lighthouse is optional, at the published rate of $5 per person. You can visit the lighthouse setting and enjoy the surrounding coastal views without climbing or paying the tower admission. Most of our guests choose to enjoy the setting; the climb is there if you particularly want it. The tourism board lists tower visits daily from 9 am to 7 pm, subject to local changes.

Who buys the attraction tickets, and how can we pay for them?

Guests normally buy and pay for attraction tickets directly when they arrive, and the guide can help with the arrangements. Bring a card and some US-dollar cash; payment methods and card-terminal availability depend on the venue. The Butterfly Farm explicitly lists major cards and cash. Bring any ID needed to claim an attraction's student, senior or age-based rate.

Can ticket prices change or tickets sell out after we book?

These attractions normally welcome walk-in visitors, but admission is operated by each venue. Prices, opening hours, guided-tour departures, special events or temporary closures can change. A van-tour reservation does not reserve attraction tickets. If one place is essential to your day, tell us so we can check it beforehand; your guide can help choose an alternative if access is unavailable.

Booking & paymentSecure cards, confirmation & the next steps
Making your booking
How do we book a private van tour?

Choose Book My Tour directly, or build a wish list first. Enter date, pickup time, passengers and duration; review the total; add your contact and pickup details; then review the booking and securely save a card with Stripe.

What information is required to book?

Tour date, pickup time, duration, adult/child counts, first and last name, phone number, email, a card to secure the booking, and agreement to the displayed terms and statement-name acknowledgment.

Can we book before choosing our hotel or villa?

Yes. Pickup and drop-off addresses are optional at booking and can be arranged later. Provide reliable contact details so the team can follow up.

Can we include special requests such as our ship or a child seat?

Yes. Use the booking notes for your ship and all-aboard time, child-seat needs or other requests. Please send special requests at least 48 hours before the tour so we can arrange them properly. We will do our best to accommodate them and, for a timely request we cannot meet, aim to let you know before the free-cancellation cutoff. Equipment or unusual arrangements need explicit confirmation; typing a request into the form alone does not guarantee it.

How far in advance must we book online?

The online booking requires at least 24 hours before the requested pickup, calculated in Aruba local time.

Can we book for today or less than 24 hours ahead?

to ask about a short-notice tour. The online form cannot accept a start within 24 hours. Short-notice availability must be checked; office hours are 8 am–4 pm Aruba time, daily.

How early should we book in a busy period?

Book once your travel plans are settled, especially for holidays or the busy period from roughly mid-December to mid-May. Many of our guests book 4–12 weeks ahead. Availability varies from one date to another, so a distant date can fill while a nearer one still has space. The online minimum is 24 hours; call for anything sooner.

How far into the future can we book?

There is no fixed business limit on how far ahead you may inquire, but we recommend contacting us for a tour more than 12 months away. That lets us confirm the arrangements and applicable quote rather than assuming today's details will remain unchanged indefinitely.

Can we book a tour on more than one day?

Absolutely. Several shorter outings can be a lovely way to see Aruba without trying to fit everything into one day: beaches on one day, town and culture on another, and the south or caves on a third. Contact us to coordinate dates and complementary routes. You can request the same guide, subject to availability; there is no automatic multi-day discount.

Can I book for another person, as a gift, or as a travel agent?

Yes. You can book for someone else, including as a gift or on behalf of a client, and the payer does not have to join the tour. Give us the traveling lead guest's details and a way to reach the group, and make sure the cardholder authorizes the booking and applicable charges. Contact us for any special gift or agency arrangement; a gift certificate or commission agreement is not automatically included.

Do we need a passport, ID, printed voucher or hotel confirmation?

We do not require a printed voucher, hotel confirmation or passport to board the tour. Have your booking reference available if useful, and be at the agreed pickup point with your phone on. Individual attractions may ask for identification to support a discounted admission rate, and cruise passengers must follow their ship's requirements for going ashore and returning.

Your confirmation & the next steps
Is the booking confirmed instantly?

Yes. After the booking and secure card save succeed, the page confirms the tour and a confirmation email is sent. The team follows up within 24 hours with more information.

Does the follow-up email mean our first confirmation is only a request?

The successful booking is confirmed immediately. The follow-up supplies further details and arrangements. In the rare case the company cannot operate your tour, it will contact you and you will not pay for a tour it cancels.

What is in the confirmation email?

Your confirmation includes the booking reference, tour date, Aruba-local pickup time, duration, passenger counts, contact and pickup/drop-off details, tour price, selected stops and your note. It also summarizes payment and cancellation terms and reminds you that the card charge appears as BRUMMELL AND FOGG LLC.

What name will the confirmation email come from?

Your confirmation comes from Aruba Sightseeing Tours. Reply directly to that email to reach the Aruba Your Way team. If you cannot find it, check your spam or junk folder and contact us so we can help.

When will we learn our guide’s name and see the pickup instructions?

We use the pickup location you arrange with us. Cruise guests receive meeting-point instructions after booking; hotel and villa pickups are coordinated at the property. You receive your driver-guide's name and contact details the day before the tour. If your tour is approaching and those details have not reached you, contact us rather than waiting until pickup.

What if we received an on-screen confirmation but no email?

Check your spam or junk folder and the email address entered in the booking. If the screen confirmed your tour but the email is missing, contact us with your name, tour date and booking reference if you have it. We can check the booking and resend the confirmation. Please do not make a second booking just to obtain another email.

What if our confirmation has the wrong date, pickup time or passenger count?

Contact the team promptly with the booking reference and the correction. Our policy allows free changes before the 24-hour cutoff, but a different group size or duration can change the price.

Do you send a reminder before the tour?

The team sends a day-before message with the agreed tour details, pickup time and place, and your guide's name and contact information. It also confirms payment when the tour has been charged. If you have arranged cash payment, the message should reflect that arrangement instead. Please contact us if you have not received the information before your tour.

Can we reserve provisionally or hold a van without saving a card?

A card is normally required to secure your private van and guide. In unusual circumstances, contact us to discuss an exception. There is no automatic card-free hold or guaranteed hold period in the standard booking process.

Does choosing a date in the calendar check live van availability?

The date picker checks the booking rules; it is not a live fleet-availability calendar. A successful booking receives instant confirmation, and our team arranges your van and guide. We follow up within 24 hours with further details.

Secure cards & checkout
Will you charge my card when I make the booking?

No. The booking securely saves your card to secure the tour. The tour is charged 24 hours before pickup under our payment policy.

Why do you require a card if there is no charge today?

The card secures your private van and guide and supports the cancellation/no-show policy. You can cancel free before the 24-hour cutoff.

Who handles my card number and security code?

Stripe-hosted card fields handle those details directly. The booking system receives saved-card references and masked details, not your full card number or security code.

Can your team see my full card number?

Our website and booking system do not receive or display your full card number or security code. Stripe secures your card. Only authorized staff can handle payment using the saved card and masked information.

Is saving the card the same as placing a deposit or holding the tour amount?

No. Saving your card does not charge a deposit or place a hold for the full tour amount at booking.

Do I need a Stripe account or a Link login?

No. The current form uses direct card entry through Stripe. A Stripe account or Link login is not required.

Why might my bank ask for a code or an authentication step?

Your bank may require authentication during card saving. Complete the bank’s secure prompt; it is separate from creating a Stripe account.

Which credit cards, debit cards or prepaid cards can we use?

Use a major credit or debit card supported by Stripe and approved by your card issuer. Stripe supports brands such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express, but acceptance can depend on the account, card, country and bank checks. Debit or prepaid cards must also support the later charge and have sufficient funds when payment is due. If a particular card cannot be saved, try another card or contact us.

Can we use Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or a bank transfer?

The current online checkout uses card entry. It does not currently offer Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. By prior arrangement, the team can discuss a US-bank transfer, Bitcoin or USDC payment. Contact us for the current instructions and how the booking will be secured; those arrangements are not part of the standard checkout and do not automatically waive the card guarantee.

Payment & your statement
When will the tour be charged?

For a normal advance booking, there is no charge today. Payment is due 24 hours before pickup, under the cancellation and no-show terms agreed at checkout. If you have arranged cash payment with the team in advance, the card is retained as the booking guarantee and the agreed cash amount is paid at the start instead.

What name will appear on my card statement?

The charge will appear as BRUMMELL AND FOGG LLC. This reminder is shown during booking, on the confirmation screen and in the confirmation email.

What currency is the tour priced and charged in?

The tour quote is in US dollars. The payment arrangement is in USD; the business does not set your bank’s conversion rate or foreign-transaction charges.

Can we pay cash on the day instead?

Yes, by prior arrangement. Contact us before the 24-hour payment cutoff and wait for confirmation that cash payment has been arranged. You then pay the driver in US dollars at the start of the tour, while your saved card continues to secure the booking and no-show terms. The 7% tax component remains; the 2% card fee is removed. Ask us for the revised total and bring the agreed amount.

What happens if the saved card expires, is replaced, or fails before the tour?

If the card has expired, been replaced or cannot be charged, we will contact you to resolve it rather than automatically canceling the tour at the first failure. Please respond promptly and use the secure method the team arranges for a replacement card. If we cannot reach you or resolve payment, the tour may be canceled. Tell us in advance if you know the saved card is no longer valid.

Can we change the card, use someone else’s card or have the payer stay home?

Yes. The payer can be someone who is not traveling, provided they authorize the card use and booking terms. Contact us to change the card or payer details. We will help arrange a secure method; please never send card details in an ordinary message.

Will we receive a payment receipt or an itemized company invoice?

The team provides an emailed PDF receipt when it charges you. If you need a company invoice or a particular billing name, ask us and provide the details required. Your booking confirmation is not proof that payment has been taken. Contact us if your payment receipt is missing.

What happens to payment when we add people or hours?

For an agreed change before the 24-hour cutoff, we update the booking and total to match the new passenger count or duration. During the tour, an extension is possible only if both guide and van are available. Agree on the added time and price first; extra time arranged in the vehicle is paid in cash, because we do not take card payments in the van. Reducing the group or finishing early within 24 hours does not create a refund.

What if we see a duplicate, unexpected or unfamiliar charge?

Contact us promptly if an amount looks wrong or you think a charge is duplicated. The tour charge appears as BRUMMELL AND FOGG LLC, so check that name against your tour total. Give us the booking reference, charge date and amount; the last four card digits can help identify it, but do not send the full number or security code. Our team will check the booking and payment record.

When plans changeChanges, cancellations & travel surprises
Changing your plans
Can we change our date, pickup time or booking details for free?

Yes. You can request changes without a change fee before the 24-hour cutoff. A new date or start time must be available, and more guests or a longer tour can change the total. Contact us and wait for confirmation of the amendment. Within 24 hours, changes are at our discretion; we will help where possible, but a later start may shorten the tour if the guide has another commitment.

How do we request a change after booking?

Reply to the confirmation email or contact the team with your booking reference and the changes you want. The current website has no guest self-service change portal.

Can we add or remove guests before the tour?

Tell us the new adult and child counts as soon as possible. Before the 24-hour cutoff, an agreed change is reflected in the quote. Within 24 hours, fewer guests do not reduce the booked price. Additional guests may be possible if seating and equipment allow, with any extra fare agreed first. Larger groups may need a different vehicle or more than one van.

Can we change our hotel, pickup or drop-off address later?

Yes. Contact us with the new pickup or drop-off location when you know it. Address changes can usually be accommodated even inside 24 hours, but tell us well before the driver is due, rather than a few minutes before pickup. A different location can affect the route and sightseeing time within your booked hours.

Can we change only our chosen stops without changing the booking?

Yes. The private route is flexible within your booked time and can be discussed with your guide. New choices may affect what fits and any separate attraction fees.

Can we add another hour once we are on the tour?

Ask your guide. If both the van and guide are free after your booked time, we can extend in whole hours at the applicable extra-hour rate. Agree on the price before extending; added time arranged during the tour is paid in cash. An extension is not guaranteed when another booking follows, so reserve enough time in advance for your must-see places.

Can we shorten the tour after booking or finish early on the day?

You can finish early whenever you wish. If you ask to shorten a booking before the 24-hour cutoff, we can amend it within the standard 4-hour minimum and confirm the revised price. Once inside 24 hours, or after the tour has started, unused time is not refunded. Let the guide know when you would like to return.

Can we change something within 24 hours of pickup?

Contact us and we will do what we can. Changes inside 24 hours are subject to availability and our approval. A pickup-address correction is generally easier than moving the start time, and choosing different stops remains flexible within the booked time. Removing guests or ending early does not lower the price after the cutoff; extra guests or hours may cost more.

Can we transfer the booking to someone else or change the lead guest?

Yes. We can change the lead guest or arrange for another group member to use the booking, and the original booker does not have to attend. Contact us with the new lead guest's name and reachable contact details. We also need to confirm who is authorizing the change and who remains responsible for payment. Changing the name does not remove the original cancellation terms.

Does sending a change request immediately update the booking?

No. Requests are reviewed and entered by the team, then confirmed back to you. This is usually within a few hours, with a response target of no more than 24 hours. If pickup or a deadline is close, call during office hours so we can discuss it promptly. Do not assume a requested new time or date is accepted until we confirm it.

Cancellations, refunds & travel disruption
What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel free before the 24-hour cutoff. Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour and no-shows are charged the full tour amount. See our answers about cruise delays or missed port calls, flight disruption and a tour we cancel for those exceptions.

What time is the free-cancellation deadline for our tour?

The cutoff is 24 hours before the scheduled pickup in Aruba local time. For a Friday 10 am tour, that is Thursday 10 am in Aruba. Send your cancellation or change request ahead of that deadline and ask for acknowledgment; call during office hours if it is approaching and you have not heard back.

How do we cancel the tour?

Reply to your confirmation email, , or during 8 am–4 pm Aruba time, daily. Include the booking reference, lead guest name and tour date, and state clearly that you want to cancel. Keep the message and our acknowledgment. If the cutoff is near, call as well rather than relying on an unread message.

What counts as a no-show?

A no-show is a group that does not attend at the agreed place and time and cannot be reached, or declines the tour when the guide arrives without having canceled under the free-cancellation policy. The guide attempts contact by phone, text and/or WhatsApp and typically waits up to 20 minutes. Please contact your guide immediately if you are delayed or at the wrong location. No-shows are charged the full tour amount; the waiting period is not a free extension of your tour.

What happens if the company cancels the tour?

If the company cannot run your tour, you pay nothing. If you have already paid, our policy is a full refund.

How and how quickly are refunds issued?

When we approve a refund, the team aims to process it the same day and no later than 3 days. For a card payment, it is normally returned to the original payment method; your bank determines when it appears on your statement. If we cancel your tour, the full amount you paid for the tour is refunded, including its tax and card-fee component. An already purchased third-party attraction ticket must be reviewed under that attraction's own terms.

What if our cruise ship arrives late or skips Aruba?

No tour charge. If you’ve already paid, we’ll refund it. Please let us know promptly. If the ship is delayed, we will try to move the pickup to a workable time. If we cannot accommodate the revised arrival, there is no tour charge; if payment has already been taken, it is refunded. Please share the updated port schedule and all-aboard time so we can plan safely.

What if our flight is delayed or canceled, or our hotel plans change?

Tell us promptly if travel disruption affects your tour. If your flight is canceled and you notify us, we will not charge you for a tour you cannot take; contact the team if payment has already been processed. For delays, we will try to reschedule subject to availability. A hotel change is normally straightforward: give us the new pickup location. Other late changes remain subject to the normal policy and any exception the team agrees.

What if someone is ill, there is a family emergency or a travel advisory?

Contact us as soon as you can and explain the situation. Before the cutoff, the normal free-cancellation policy applies. Within 24 hours, illness, family emergencies or a travel advisory are considered individually; there is no automatic waiver. We will try to find a workable solution, but only the team can approve an exception.

Do you cancel for rain or bad weather?

A possibility of light rain does not normally cancel the tour. If a storm, lightning, flooding or other conditions make it unsafe to operate, we will contact you about rescheduling. If we cannot agree on a suitable alternative and the company cancels, you pay nothing; any tour payment already taken is refunded.

What if an attraction is closed or sea conditions prevent a planned activity?

Your guide will discuss an alternative with you if a stop is closed, inaccessible or unsuitable that day. You can choose another place or spend more time at a different stop. The private-tour price is for the booked van, guide and time, so changing one stop does not automatically change the price. Tell us before booking if one attraction is essential, especially before buying any separate nonrefundable ticket.

What if the van breaks down, the guide is late or the tour is interrupted?

Contact the guide or office immediately if something disrupts the tour. In the unlikely event of a vehicle problem, we will try to arrange replacement transport and a guide promptly. If a guide is substantially delayed and you do not accept the delayed start, the team can arrange a refund. Other interruptions are reviewed with you to determine a practical solution; we do not promise a fixed replacement time or universal compensation formula.

Pickup, vans & cruise daysFrom your doorstep to your day out
Pickup & drop-off
Is pickup and drop-off included?

Yes. The private van tour includes pickup and drop-off on Aruba, with no separate standard pickup fee.

Can you pick us up at our hotel, villa, Airbnb or vacation rental?

Yes. Island-wide pickup includes hotels and private accommodations. Provide the exact location when you know it.

Can we end the tour somewhere different, such as a restaurant or beach?

Yes. A different drop-off location on Aruba can be arranged, including a restaurant or beach. Tell the team where you want to finish.

Can you collect our group from two or more hotels?

Yes, multiple pickups and drop-offs can be arranged without a separate standard pickup fee. Your paid tour runs from the first pickup to the final drop-off, so these journeys use part of your sightseeing time. Send us the locations and preferred order in advance. Meeting together at one hotel or villa often leaves more time for exploring.

Where exactly should we wait at a hotel or villa?

At a hotel, wait in the lobby with your phone on; the guide will contact you when outside or come in to find you. At a villa, you can wait inside ready to leave: the guide will ring, knock or call on arrival. Give us an accurate address and any necessary access instructions beforehand. Do not post a villa gate code in a public review or public itinerary.

How early should we be ready for pickup?

Be ready a few minutes before your scheduled pickup. You do not need to wait outside well in advance. If the guide arrives early, they will wait for the agreed time before expecting you to leave.

What if the driver is there but we cannot find each other?

Keep the phone number used for the booking reachable. Contact your guide first using the details sent the day before. If you cannot reach the guide, and tell us your exact location and booking reference. Office hours are 8 am–4 pm Aruba time. For an early pickup, save the guide's number beforehand because office calls may not be answered out of hours.

What if we are running late for pickup?

Let your guide know as soon as you realize you may be late. A few minutes is usually manageable, but time spent waiting can count toward your booking and the return time may have to stay unchanged. If the group cannot be found or contacted, the no-show procedure applies; see our no-show policy.

Can the tour start or finish at the airport?

Possibly, but arrange it with us first. Passenger numbers and luggage determine whether everything fits safely in the tour van. A couple with a few bags is much easier to accommodate than a full group with suitcases. Give us the flight details and bag count; airport meeting instructions and the required departure buffer must be agreed for your particular flight.

Can we tour between hotel checkout and a late flight?

Yes. For a larger group, the simplest plan is often to leave luggage with your hotel after checkout, take the tour, return for the bags, and then use a separate airport transfer. A small party may be able to bring luggage and finish at the airport if we approve the space beforehand. Allow the check-in time required by your airline and airport, not just the drive to the terminal.

Can we be picked up in San Nicolas or another area away from the main hotels?

Yes, standard pickup is available around Aruba, including San Nicolas and places away from the main hotels. Give us the exact location so we can agree on a safe, reachable meeting point. Starting farther from the sights you want to see means more of the booked time may be spent driving.

Can the guide collect us again after dropping us at dinner or a beach?

Your van and guide remain available during the hours you booked, so you can use part of that time for a meal or beach visit and then continue. Waiting and the return drive both count within the tour duration. If you want to be collected after the tour has ended, arrange a separate transfer and price in advance.

Your cruise day in Aruba
Can cruise passengers take the private van tour?

Yes. The tour can meet cruise guests in Oranjestad and return them after their private island day.

Where do cruise guests meet the guide?

Usually at the Citgo gas station beside the Oranjestad cruise terminal. We’ll send precise instructions after booking. It is a short walk from the terminal area. We send the guide’s contact details the day before. Different berths and exits can affect the walk; contact us beforehand if you need a closer or accessible meeting arrangement.

How will we recognize our van or guide at the port?

The team supplies the driver-guide’s name, vehicle description and contact details the day before. The guide commonly also messages by WhatsApp or text.

What ship information should we provide?

Add your ship’s name, port date, arrival time and all-aboard time to your booking notes. All-aboard time matters for planning the return; it can be earlier than sailing time.

Should we enter ship time or Aruba time?

Select pickup in Aruba local time. If your ship displays a different time, tell the team which time basis your port schedule uses so the pickup and return can be reconciled.

How much time do you allow to get back before all-aboard?

We normally plan to return one hour before your ship’s all-aboard time. We never plan a return less than 30 minutes before it. This is a scheduling policy, not a promise that unforeseen delays cannot happen.

Will our ship wait for this independent tour?

This is an independent private tour, not a ship-operated excursion, so you must not assume the ship will wait. Tell us the ship's all-aboard time and when you want to be back. We plan the route with a return buffer, but you remain responsible for reboarding on time. There is no separately confirmed missed-ship or onward-travel guarantee in this product.

What is a sensible pickup time after the ship docks?

A usual starting point is pickup about 1 hour after the scheduled docking time. Docking is not the same as being allowed ashore, so check your ship's disembarkation instructions and tell us if you need extra time. We can help choose a workable pickup before you book.

What happens if our ship is late or does not call at Aruba?

Let us know about the changed arrival as soon as it is announced, using email, WhatsApp, text or a call, whichever you can access. We will try to arrange a new pickup. If the ship skips Aruba, or the delayed arrival cannot be accommodated, our cruise exception applies: no tour charge, or a refund if already charged. See our cruise disruption policy.

Can we still take a tour if the port call is short?

It depends on the actual port schedule. Our shortest guided van tour is 4 hours, and you also need time to disembark, reach the meeting point and return before all-aboard. Send us your ship's times if the window is tight. A shorter transfer with a driver may be a separate option, but it is not the same service as the guided tour.

Can we be dropped at a beach or restaurant instead of the cruise terminal?

Yes. You can choose a beach or restaurant as your final drop-off. After the tour ends, you are responsible for getting back to the ship on time. We can help arrange a separately priced return transfer, or you can use a taxi. Allow a generous buffer and agree the onward plan before leaving the van.

Can people from different ships or hotels book one private van together?

Yes, a private group can come from different hotels, with the same booking and cancellation terms. Multiple pickups use part of your tour time, so a common meeting point is often easier. Guests from different ships need advance coordination because arrival and all-aboard times may not match. Choose one lead contact and confirm a plan that works for everyone's earliest return deadline.

Your van, group size & seating
How many passengers can one van take?

Each van accepts up to 10 guests, excluding the driver-guide, and every child counts toward that limit. The usual Staria has nine regular seats and one compact front-middle passenger seat. A party of 10 needs a suitable seating arrangement; contact us if everyone is a full-size adult or your group has child-restraint needs. You can book up to four vans together online and assign the guests to each van.

Can ten full-size adults travel comfortably?

9 full-size adults fit the regular passenger seats comfortably. If your group has 10 full-size adults, please contact us for a larger-van option and custom quote rather than assuming everyone will be comfortable in the Staria's compact seat. We will help choose a suitable vehicle.

Does the driver count toward the passenger limit?

No. The limit of 10 is for guests, in addition to the driver-guide.

Can just one person or a couple book?

Yes. One person or a couple can book a completely private tour. The starting price covers up to three adults, so it is the same base price for one, two or three. If a guest under 18 wants to travel without an adult, please contact us to confirm the arrangements before booking.

Can a group of more than ten book two or three vans?

Yes. You can book up to four private vans together online, with up to 10 guests per van. Open “Need more than one van?” beneath the tour length and choose the adults and children in each van. Smaller groups can choose extra vans for more room too. Each van has its own guide; the booking shares a date, pickup time and tour length. Each van is priced and rounded down separately, then the totals are added. Contact us for larger groups or different schedules. The tenth seat is compact, perfect for a child or small person.

What make, model and year of van will arrive?

Expect a modern, clean, comfortable, air-conditioned van with suitable space for the agreed party. Our fleet mainly uses Hyundai Starias, but another make or model may be supplied. The illustrated 2026 Staria shows our tour style; a particular make, year or individual van is not guaranteed unless the team expressly agrees it.

Are seat belts available for every passenger, including the compact seat?

A seat belt is available at every passenger seating position, including the compact seat. Everyone must use a suitable belt or child restraint. Let us know about children or restraint needs before the tour so the vehicle and seating can be checked.

Can we reserve a particular seat or request extra legroom?

Your group normally chooses who sits where; we do not assign seats, apart from the driver's seat. Let us know beforehand if a particular seat or extra legroom is important. Seating remains subject to the vehicle layout, seat belts and child-safety requirements, and a preference is not an automatic guarantee.

Is this a rental van that we drive ourselves?

No. The tour includes a local driver-guide who drives the van. The booking is for a guided private outing, not a self-drive vehicle rental.

Comfort for everyoneFamilies, accessibility & what to bring
Babies, children & family days
Do babies and young children have a tour fare?

Children aged 0–12 have no tour fare, but still count toward the 10-guest capacity. Separate attraction fees can apply by the attraction’s age rules.

Should we include an infant in the passenger count?

Yes. Include every guest, including babies, in the passenger count. Children aged 0–12 have no tour fare, but still require a safe seating arrangement. Do not omit a child or assume lap travel lets the group exceed capacity. Request any infant seat at least 48 hours in advance and wait for confirmation.

Can we bring and install our own child restraint?

Yes, you may bring your own child restraint. Tell us its type and mounting requirements in advance so compatibility with the assigned vehicle can be checked. Follow the restraint and vehicle instructions when installing it; bringing a seat does not guarantee it fits every seating position.

Can we bring a stroller and still fit the whole group?

A folded stroller can normally be carried without an extra charge. Tell us its folded size and your passenger count so we can check the available cargo space, especially with a full group or child seats. Large strollers, mobility devices and suitcases need an advance space check.

Can we stop for snacks, toilets, diaper changes or a child’s nap?

Yes. Ask for breaks whenever needed and give the guide some notice so we can find a suitable place. A parent can stay with a child in the air-conditioned van while the others explore. Changing facilities vary by stop, so wearing swimwear under your clothes and bringing a dry change can help. Breaks use part of the booked tour time.

Which stops are good options for families with children?

The choice list includes beaches, The Butterfly Farm, Donkey Sanctuary, Philip’s Animal Garden and Ostrich Farm. Families can mix short stops with breaks; the right choice depends on the children’s needs and available time.

Which ages count if a child has a birthday between booking and touring?

Use the child's age on the day of the tour. Children 0–12 have no van-tour fare; from their 13th birthday they count as a fare-paying adult. We rely on the ages you provide and do not require a birth certificate for the tour. Tell us if a birthday changes the booking category. Attractions apply their own age and proof-of-age rules.

Accessibility & individual needs
Is the van wheelchair accessible with a ramp or lift?

Our standard vans do not have a wheelchair ramp or lift, and a guest cannot travel seated in a wheelchair inside them. The standard tour requires getting in and out of the van, and many natural stops have uneven ground. Contact us before booking if you have mobility needs; a specially planned low-walking outing may be possible, but wheelchair-adapted transport is not currently a confirmed service.

Can you carry a folding wheelchair, walker or mobility scooter?

Please contact us with the folded dimensions, weight, passenger count and the assistance you need before bringing a mobility aid. Cargo space is limited and the vans have no ramp or lift. We have not published capacity limits for wheelchairs, scooters or heavy equipment, so they must be assessed individually. The usual tour requires guests to board the van without being lifted.

How high is the van step, and can the guide help us board?

The guide is happy to offer reasonable assistance while you board and exit, but the exact step height depends on the vehicle. If step height, a stool, handholds or transfer assistance are essential, ask us to check the assigned van before booking. Do not assume lifting or a wheelchair transfer is included.

Can we take a mostly seated or low-walking sightseeing tour?

A mostly seated sightseeing drive may be possible if you can board the van and the itinerary is agreed in advance. Tell us how much walking is comfortable and which views interest you. We can consider shorter stops and places seen from or near the vehicle. The standard itinerary should not be assumed accessible without discussing your needs first.

Which stops involve stairs, climbing, uneven ground or a difficult walk?

Hooiberg and the optional lighthouse climb involve stairs; rock formations, ruins, caves, natural arches and beach access can involve uneven ground or sand. You do not have to climb at every stop, and a low-walking plan can focus on selected viewpoints and town stops. Accessibility varies by attraction: Philip's Animal Garden, for example, describes paths and ramps for visitors using wheelchairs, but our standard tour van is not wheelchair adapted. Ask us to assess the whole journey, including boarding and toilets.

Can one guest stay in the van while others explore?

Yes. Guests can remain in the air-conditioned van while others explore, and the guide commonly waits there too. Agree on the arrangement at each stop. A child or guest requiring personal care should remain with their responsible adult or carer; the tour is not a babysitting or medical-supervision service.

Can you accommodate a service animal or a pet?

We are open to a well-behaved pet or service animal that can fit safely, but tell us before booking so we can plan the vehicle and route. Attraction access is separate from our permission to bring an animal in the van. Arikok's published rules prohibit pets; any service-animal access needs direct confirmation with the park. Never assume every stop admits animals.

Can you accommodate sensory sensitivities, hearing loss or vision loss?

Tell us what would make the tour comfortable: a quieter ride, clearer verbal descriptions, written pickup instructions, fewer crowded stops or extra time, for example. We will work with you on a suitable plan. Specialized equipment, sign-language interpretation or personal assistance is not automatically included and must be discussed in advance.

Can a pregnant guest or someone with a medical condition join?

Pregnancy or a medical condition is not by itself a blanket restriction, but the tour involves tropical heat, vehicle travel and sometimes uneven walking. Tell us about any practical accommodation you need and choose suitable stops. If you are unsure whether a particular activity is appropriate, ask your healthcare professional; our team cannot provide medical clearance.

Can we bring oxygen, medication needing cooling, or other medical equipment?

Contact us before booking with the equipment dimensions, power or storage needs and the assistance you require. We do not provide a medical vehicle, oxygen supply, guaranteed electrical power or temperature-controlled medication storage. A drinks cooler is not a medical refrigerator. We can discuss practical options, but essential medical support must not be assumed available.

Are accessible toilets available on the route?

Accessible restroom facilities must be checked for the particular itinerary. Many natural stops have limited facilities, and a toilet's presence does not establish step-free access or adequate space. Tell us what you require before booking so we can consider suitable breaks. We cannot currently guarantee an accessible toilet at every stop.

Can we request an extra companion or carer without a fare?

Please ask us about your party and support needs before booking. There is no confirmed automatic free-carer policy; the standard fare and passenger-capacity rules apply unless the team agrees a specific exception. A companion can help with personal assistance that is outside the driver-guide's role.

A comfortable ride
Is the van air-conditioned throughout the drive?

Yes. The van is air-conditioned throughout the drive, and the guide can adjust the temperature to your comfort. If some guests stay in the van during a stop, air-conditioning can remain on with the guide present.

Is bottled water, a cooler or ice provided?

Yes. We provide bottled water and a cooler with ice for the van tour. Bring any other snacks or drinks you particularly want.

Is there Wi-Fi, a USB charger or a power socket in the van?

The vans have a USB connection; bring your own compatible charging cable, or request one ahead of time. There is no dedicated onboard Wi-Fi. A guide may be able to share a phone hotspot if you need it, but this is a courtesy dependent on reception and availability. Do not rely on uninterrupted data coverage, especially in remote areas, or on a household-style power socket.

How much luggage and beach gear can we bring?

Small day bags are fine. Space for larger beach gear depends on the vehicle and how many people are traveling. Do not bring suitcases, bulky equipment or several large items unless we have agreed to them in advance. Tell us the number and size of the items so we can confirm they fit safely without using required passenger seats.

Can we leave belongings in the van at stops?

You can usually leave ordinary belongings in the van at stops, and the guide commonly stays with the vehicle. Keep passports, money, valuables and anything irreplaceable with you or safely at your accommodation. Please do not treat the van as insured storage or leave something valuable on display.

Is smoking or vaping allowed in the van?

No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the van. Ask your guide to stop somewhere appropriate if you need a break, and follow the rules at each attraction.

Can we eat, drink or bring alcohol in the van?

You may bring snacks and drinks, including a beer if you wish, and any cups, napkins or other supplies you need. Keep the van clean and be considerate of the group and guide. The sightseeing tour is not an unrestricted drinking party; discuss an evening bar-hopping plan separately.

Can we play our own music or ask for a quiet ride?

Yes. You can connect your music by Bluetooth, ask for different music or enjoy a quiet ride. Let the driver know what your group prefers.

What rules apply to disruptive behavior or damage to the van?

Please treat the guide, other guests and vehicle respectfully. Verbal or physical abuse is not acceptable. An additional cleaning charge may apply for a major spill, vomiting or similar mess. Tell the guide immediately if something happens so it can be dealt with safely.

Can we ask the guide for a break during the drive?

Of course. Let the guide know early if you need a restroom, motion-sickness break or other stop. Facilities are easier to find in built-up areas than at remote coast or nature stops, so advance notice helps us choose an appropriate place. A request for a break is welcome; its timing still needs to account for safe stopping and available facilities.

What to bring, food & facilities
Can we stop for lunch, a snack or a drink?

Yes. Tell us where you would like to eat or ask the guide for suggestions. Time spent eating or waiting at a restaurant counts toward your booked tour, and food and drinks are paid separately. If you want a longer lunch or a particular restaurant, mention it when planning so it fits around the other stops.

Can the guide recommend local restaurants or food?

Absolutely. Our guides know options ranging from quick local bites to a leisurely restaurant meal. Tell them your tastes, budget and available time. A recommendation does not itself reserve a table, guarantee a particular menu or make food part of the tour price.

Can you accommodate food allergies, dietary restrictions or a severe allergy in the van?

Contact us in advance with the specific allergy or dietary requirement. We can discuss stops and practical arrangements, but cannot guarantee that the van or a third-party restaurant is allergen-free. For a severe allergy, plan with your healthcare professional and carry your prescribed medication. Please confirm ingredients and preparation directly with the food provider.

Are there restrooms along the route?

Restrooms are available at some attractions and in developed hotel, restaurant and beach areas, but not at every stop. Remote coast and nature visits can involve a longer gap between facilities. Tell your guide early if regular restroom access is important, and we will plan around it where possible. Resort facilities may require permission or a purchase, and accessible toilets need a separate check.

What should we bring for a tour with beach time?

Bring comfortable lightweight clothes, walking shoes, sun protection, your phone or camera, a card and some US-dollar cash for admissions or purchases. For beach time, add swimwear, dry clothes and water shoes if useful for rocky entries. We provide bottled water, beach towels, masks and snorkels; bring any personal gear or snacks you prefer. You do not need a passport for the tour itself, but cruise guests should follow their ship's shore-document rules.

What should we wear for the caves, rock formations or chapel?

Choose comfortable clothing and secure footwear with grip for caves, rocks and uneven paths; these are better choices than unstable sandals for a climb. Bring sun protection for exposed places and a cover-up for visiting the chapel after a beach stop. Respect services and signs at religious sites. There is no special tour uniform or need for formal clothing.

Do we need insect repellent, reef-safe sunscreen or water shoes?

Choose water-resistant sun protection that is free of oxybenzone, which Aruba has banned, and use shade, a hat and suitable clothing as well. Water shoes can help at rocky entries, but do not make every coastline suitable for swimming. Insect repellent is sensible when mosquitoes are present; do not assume bites happen only at sunrise or sunset. Follow the product instructions and current traveler-health advice.

Can we shop during the tour or stop at a supermarket/pharmacy?

Yes. You can include a shop, supermarket or pharmacy if it is reachable and open. These stops and the time spent there are part of your booked hours, and purchases are separate. Tell your guide what you need so it can be worked into the route.

Around our happy islandAll 25 places, beach time & your local guide
Swimming, snorkeling & beach time
Can we swim or snorkel during the tour?

Yes. Beach and snorkeling stops can form part of the private tour. Time in the water uses some of the booked tour time, so longer swims mean fewer other stops.

Can non-swimmers or young children join a snorkeling stop?

You can choose a beach stop without going into the water. Non-swimmers and families should choose activities suited to their abilities and the conditions on the day; children need active supervision by their responsible adult. A mask, snorkel or flotation aid does not make an unsuitable swimming area safe. If you want instruction or a guided activity, discuss that in advance rather than assuming the driver provides it.

Are beach chairs, umbrellas, bathrooms and showers included?

No. Beach chairs, umbrellas and paid access to showers or other facilities are not included in the tour price. Availability and rental costs vary by beach and provider. Tell us what matters to you so we can choose a stop with suitable facilities; a free public beach does not include use of a hotel's loungers or pool.

Can we get back into the van wearing a wet swimsuit?

Guests have been able to rejoin the van after swimming, but towel off and check with the guide so the seats stay comfortable for everyone. Bring dry clothes if you would like to change after your last swim. A changing room is not available at every beach.

Are towels, changing rooms or a place to leave dry clothes provided?

Beach towels are provided for the van tour. Bring a change of clothes if you plan to swim, and consider wearing swimwear underneath your outfit. Changing rooms and restrooms depend on the beach; the guide can help identify a practical option. Small bags can usually stay in the van, but keep valuables with you.

Will we definitely see sea turtles at Tres Trapi?

No sighting can be guaranteed because the turtles are wild. Tres Trapi is offered as a place where guests may have the opportunity to see them.

Can we swim at every coastal stop, including the natural bridges?

No. The natural-bridge stops are for viewing and photos, not swimming. Rocky coastline and exposed surf are different from a suitable beach entry. Even at a familiar swimming beach, conditions can change, and lagoon entrances or offshore areas can have currents. Ask the guide about an appropriate stop and follow signs and local advice.

What happens if the water is rough or swimming is unsafe?

If the water is rough or the guide advises that conditions are unsuitable, choose another activity, another suitable beach or time on shore. A planned swim is not a guarantee that entering the sea will be appropriate on the day. The standard tour is not a lifeguarded water activity, and guests should not enter water beyond their abilities.

Coast, rocks, lighthouse & caves
What can we see at Tres Trapi, and is there an entry fee?

Tres Trapi is a coastal swimming/snorkeling stop known for the chance to see wild sea turtles. It has no base entry fee. Wildlife sightings and suitable water conditions are not guaranteed.

What can we see at Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, and is it free?

Bushiribana offers the remains of Aruba’s historic gold mill on the north coast. The stop has no entry fee and is near the Natural Bridge area.

Are Natural Bridge and Baby Bridge one stop or two?

They are combined into one stop. You can see the remains of the famous original arch and the smaller Baby Bridge nearby; the stop is close to Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins. There is no entry fee.

What can we see at Ayo Rock Formation?

Ayo is a separate free stop among large rock formations, with paths through a dramatic boulder landscape. It is distinct from Casibari. Walking involves uneven ground, so you can choose how far to explore and discuss a gentler alternative if needed.

What can we see at Casibari Rock Formation?

Casibari is a separate rock-formation stop with elevated island views for visitors who take the climb. There is no entry fee. Do not assume that everyone must climb or that the route is accessible to every guest.

Can we visit California Lighthouse and the Sand Dunes without climbing?

Yes. Enjoy California Lighthouse, the coastal views and the nearby dune setting without climbing the tower. The tower visit is an optional $5 admission, separate from the tour. Walk only where access is allowed and protect the dunes; vehicles must not drive across them. Most guests choose the surrounding views rather than the climb.

Is Sero Colorado Natural Bridge the same place as the main Natural Bridge?

No. Sero Colorado Natural Bridge is a separate southeastern coastal arch. The combined Natural Bridge & Baby Bridge stop is elsewhere. Sero Colorado has no base entry fee; this card is about the arch, not a lighthouse.

What is Mangel Halto Beach like?

Mangel Halto combines a mangrove-lined coastal setting with turquoise water and snorkeling opportunities. You can stop for the view or allow time by the water when conditions suit. There is no base admission fee. Shallow-looking water does not make every entry or offshore area suitable for children or non-swimmers; ask about the conditions and stay within your abilities.

What does the Arikok National Park stop include on the van tour?

The van-tour Arikok selection combines Quadirikiri and Fontein caves on one park visit. Both share one park admission, paid separately from the tour; ask us to confirm the applicable admission category for your party. The van tour does not offer the park's rough-access sights such as the Natural Pool. Plan the caves during park visiting hours, allowing for driving, entry and walking rather than counting the combined visit as a quick photo stop.

Beaches, Oranjestad & island views
What can we do at Eagle Beach?

Eagle Beach offers a wide beach setting, white sand, turquoise water and its recognizable windswept trees. You can choose a photo stop or allow longer beach time. There is no base entry fee; chair and other rental arrangements are separate.

What is the Hooiberg Mountain stop?

Hooiberg is a steep stair climb to a panoramic viewpoint, about 165 meters high, with roughly 600 steps. Aruba's highest point is Jamanota in Arikok, at about 188 meters. Choose Hooiberg if you enjoy the climb; for an easier view, ask your guide about an alternative such as the lighthouse setting. Allow time for heat, rests and the descent, and do not assume the guide climbs with you.

What is the Malmok Beach stop?

Malmok is a rocky coastal stop known for clear water and snorkeling possibilities. There is no base entry fee. You can choose a quick look or time by the water if conditions suit; it is not a wide, full-service resort beach. Standard masks and snorkels are available with our van tour, while other facilities or activities depend on the location.

What is Palm Beach like compared with quieter beach stops?

Palm Beach is the lively high-rise hotel beach area, with restaurants, shops and a busier holiday atmosphere. There is no base beach entry fee. Paid rentals, activities and private hotel facilities are not part of the van-tour quote.

Can we visit Donkey Sanctuary Aruba for free?

Yes. Donkey Sanctuary Aruba has no admission fee, and donations are welcome. Its published hours are 9 am–4 pm daily except January 1. Follow staff instructions around the animals; the sanctuary describes feeding from its enclosed porch and suggests apples or carrots. It is an optional animal stop, not an extra tour charge.

What can we see in Oranjestad?

Oranjestad combines colorful Dutch-influenced architecture, shops, cafés and restaurants with the waterfront and Renaissance Marketplace area. You can drive through or stop for a walk; about 30 minutes gives time for a short look at the main shopping street, while shopping or a meal takes longer. The town tram is free, but a ride depends on it operating when you visit. Tell the guide if the tram is a priority rather than assuming the illustration guarantees a ride.

What is Arashi Beach like?

Arashi is a beach and possible snorkeling stop near the northwestern end of the island. There is no base entry fee. Time there can be a short look or a longer visit depending on your plan.

What is the Red Anchor stop?

The Red Anchor is the large anchor landmark offered as a photo stop. It has no base entry fee and is a separate selection in the tour builder.

Southern beaches, culture & animals
What can we see in San Nicolas?

San Nicolas is the street-art and colorful town stop, known as Aruba’s Sunrise City. It has no base entry fee. Individual museums, activities or purchases are not included merely by selecting the town.

What is Rodgers Beach like?

Rodgers Beach is offered as a quieter beach alternative near the southern beach area. There is no base entry fee. Facilities and swimming conditions need to be checked for your visit.

What is Boca Catalina like?

Boca Catalina is a small beach and snorkeling stop, with no base entry fee. Allow enough time if you want to get in the water rather than just stop for photos. Our standard masks, snorkels and towels are included, while separate rentals or guided activities are not. Conditions and appropriate supervision still matter, especially with children.

What is Baby Beach, and is it the same as Baby Bridge?

Baby Beach is the curved lagoon beach in southern Aruba; Baby Bridge is a natural rock arch visited with the Natural Bridge stop. They are different places. Baby Beach has no base entry fee, but rentals and purchases are separate. The lagoon may offer sheltered areas, but do not assume currents are absent, especially toward openings and beyond the protected swimming area.

Can we visit Alto Vista Chapel?

Yes. Alto Vista Chapel is a small, peaceful daytime stop, with no entry charge. It is quick to see, and you can enjoy the setting even if interior access is temporarily limited. Respect any service, worshippers or posted instructions and keep noise down.

Can we visit Philip’s Animal Garden?

Yes. Philip's Animal Garden is one of the optional animal attractions in the 25-stop list. Admission prices are $10 adults and $5 children, paid separately. Ask us to confirm the child-age category for your party. The garden publishes daily opening hours of 8 am–6 pm; guided-visit information is listed separately, so check the timing if a guided visit is important.

Where is The Butterfly Farm and what does a visit cost?

The Butterfly Farm is between the Palm Beach and Eagle Beach areas. Its official rates are $19 adults, $16 seniors/students with ID, $10 children aged 4–17, and free under 4. A guided introduction is included. Plan around its published opening and last-tour times; the admission is separate from your private van tour.

Can we visit Ostrich Farm?

Yes. Ostrich Farm is an optional paid stop with farm-guided tours and supervised feeding opportunities. Official prices are $17 adults and $10 children; ask us to confirm child-age eligibility. The farm advertises hourly departures from 10 am to 3 pm, so build the timing into your route. See our attraction visiting hours for visiting-hour notes.

Opening hours & special stop questions
Can the van take us to Natural Pool, Conchi or Cura di Tortuga?

Natural Pool, Conchi and Cura di Tortuga refer to the same natural pool. It is not offered on the van tour; see our private Jeep tour options and prices instead.

Can the van visit every part of Arikok National Park?

No. Our van-tour offering inside Arikok is Quadirikiri Cave and Fontein Cave. For the Natural Pool and other off-road park locations, see our private Jeep tours.

Are Quadiriki, Quadirikiri and Guadirikiri different caves?

Quadiriki, Quadirikiri and Guadirikiri refer to the same cave; Quadirikiri is the spelling we use here. It is separate from Fontein Cave. Both caves are combined under the Arikok National Park selection in our tour builder.

Which cave has rock drawings, skylights and the spring fish-spa experience?

Quadirikiri is known for its chambers lit through openings in the cave roof and for its bats. Fontein is the cave associated with indigenous rock drawings; look without touching them. The spring/fish-nibbling stop described by our team is near Fontein, rather than inside Quadirikiri. Ask the guide about current spring access and park instructions; it is a natural feature, not a guaranteed spa treatment or separate medical/wellness service.

Are the two caves counted as two stops in the itinerary builder?

No. They are one combined Arikok National Park selection, reflecting the operator’s usual visit to both on the same park trip. The combined visit still takes more time than a quick photo stop.

Can we visit Flamingo Beach or Renaissance Island by van?

The van cannot take you onto Renaissance Island or its Flamingo Beach; access is by boat under the resort's rules. Hotel-guest access and any limited day passes must be arranged separately with the resort. Plan it as a separate outing rather than as one of the van's 25 stops. We can discuss an appropriate mainland transfer, but it does not include an island pass or boat admission.

Are beaches, viewpoints and natural sites always open?

No stop should be treated as unconditionally open at all times. Many beach and outdoor viewpoints are informal daytime visits, but gates, weather, maintenance, conservation rules and private-property restrictions can affect access. Caves and staffed attractions have published visiting hours. Tell us if a specific place is essential so we can check it before finalizing the day's route.

Do the caves and animal attractions need reservations or timed guided visits?

Advance reservations are not normally required for the usual small-group visit, but opening hours and guided-tour times matter:

  • Arikok and caves: plan a daytime visit well before the park's afternoon last-entry limits; the tourism board lists cave visiting hours of 8 am–4 pm. The park's current experience page lists San Fuego entry until 3:30 pm and Vader Piet until 3 pm. These are entry cutoffs, not an invitation to start a two-cave visit at closing time.
  • Butterfly Farm: daily 8:30 am–4:30 pm, last guided tour at 4 pm; allow around 20–25 minutes for the introduction plus your own time. Groups of 20 or more should contact the farm.
  • Ostrich Farm: advertised guided departures on the hour, 10 am–3 pm daily. Confirm the next departure if the route is tight.
  • Philip's Animal Garden: its site lists daily opening 8 am–6 pm; tourism-board information lists half-hourly guided visits between 9 am and 5 pm.
  • Donkey Sanctuary: 9 am–4 pm daily, except January 1.

These are published planning hours checked October 14, 2026, not guarantees for every holiday or date. Our driver-guide does not automatically escort every attraction visit.

Can we visit a museum, distillery, church, private resort or other unlisted attraction?

You can request a place outside the 25 cards. Tell us what you would like to see so we can check road access, opening hours and how it fits your booked time. Private resorts, museums, distilleries or special activities may require permission, a reservation or separate admission. Asking for a stop does not override the venue's rules.

Can we climb on the ruins, natural bridges or dunes, or enter caves independently?

Explore only the areas open to visitors and follow signs or staff directions. At Bushiribana you can view the accessible ruins and take photos, but uneven ground and unstable edges require care; do not assume every wall is safe to climb. Do not climb onto the natural bridges. Walk on permitted dune routes without disturbing vegetation, and never drive on the dunes. In caves, stay in permitted areas, protect drawings and wildlife, and respect park visiting hours.

Your guide, languages & celebrations
Is the driver also our guide?

Yes. The private tour includes a local driver-guide who drives and guides the group. A separate specialist guide is not part of the standard advertised package.

Which languages can our guide speak?

Our guides speak English and Dutch, and most also speak Spanish and Papiamento. Tell us your preferred language in advance so we can match you with a suitable guide. A request for a particular language or specialist topic should be confirmed rather than assumed from the booking form.

Can we request a guide we had on a previous visit?

Yes. Give us the guide's name when you book or contact the team. We will try to arrange the same guide if available, but a preferred-guide request is not automatically guaranteed.

Can our guide take pictures of our group?

Happily. Hand the guide your phone or camera and ask for a group photo. They will do their best to capture a lovely memory, but this is informal help, not a professional photography or editing service.

Will the guide walk with us at every stop?

Not usually at every stop. Many guests enjoy exploring independently while the guide waits with the van or guests who stay inside. Agree on when and where to meet again. If you want detailed walking guidance or personal assistance at a particular place, discuss that beforehand; a separate attraction guide may have its own admission or arrangement.

Can we plan a birthday, anniversary or proposal?

Yes. Tell us about the occasion and what you have in mind before the tour, and we will help plan a special route or moment where possible. If it is a surprise, tell us how to communicate discreetly. Special items or services need their own confirmation and may cost extra.

Can you arrange flowers, champagne, decorations, a cake or a photographer?

Contact us in advance with the idea, date and budget. We can explore what can be arranged, but flowers, drinks, cakes, decorations or a photographer are not included automatically. Availability, timing, price and any supplier terms need to be confirmed before you rely on them.

Should we tip, and is a gratuity already included?

Gratuities are optional and are not included in the tour price. If you would like to thank your guide, you can tip in cash at the end. Guests who tip commonly choose around 10–20%, but there is no required amount and no obligation to tip.

Can we request a quieter guide, detailed history or more local recommendations?

Yes. Tell us whether you would enjoy detailed history, local food ideas, plenty of conversation or a quieter day, and we will do our best to match the style to your group. Raise specialist interests ahead of time so we can check whether the available guide can provide the depth you want.

Can you arrange a corporate outing, wedding group or other larger event?

Please contact us with the group size, occasion, schedule, transport needs and budget. A corporate or wedding event may need several vehicles, suppliers or different arrangements from the standard tour. We can consider a custom quote or recommend an appropriate provider if it is outside our scope. Do not apply the ten-person checkout or standard tour terms to a larger event without agreement.

Weather & exploring safely
How hot is Aruba, and what weather should we expect in our travel month?

Aruba is warm throughout the year, with strong sun and often a cooling trade wind. The meteorological service describes a generally drier period from February through June and a rainier period from September through January. Rain often comes in showers, but longer wet spells and storms are possible. Plan for heat and sun in every month, check the forecast close to your date, and do not assume the island is immune to severe weather.

Will the weather definitely be sunny or match the illustrations?

No. The artwork illustrates the holiday atmosphere; it does not predict the weather, sea conditions or crowds for your date.

When is the best time of day for less heat or fewer crowds?

An early start around 7 or 8 am can mean cooler conditions and fewer visitors at popular outdoor sights. Crowds still depend on the day, cruise calls and events, and staffed attractions may not yet be open. A later start is also fine if that suits your vacation better; your guide can adjust the route and breaks.

Does a very hot day change the itinerary?

There is no separate fixed hot-weather itinerary, but the day is flexible. You can take more air-conditioned breaks, shorten a climb, choose a shaded stop or spend longer somewhere comfortable. Tell the guide if you feel unwell or need a break. Drink water regularly and avoid making an ambitious walking plan just because the van itself is cool.

What happens during a storm, flood or government closure?

Safety and official closures take priority over the original route. We will communicate with you if a storm, flooding or another closure makes the planned tour unsafe. Where possible we will agree on a new time; if the company cancels without a suitable replacement arrangement, there is no tour charge or the tour payment is refunded.

Is Aruba safe, and can you guarantee our personal safety?

Aruba is a popular destination for a relaxed vacation, but no operator can guarantee personal safety. Use normal travel precautions: protect valuables, take care near traffic and uneven edges, follow the guide's advice, and be cautious about sun, heat and sea conditions. Tell us about any concern so we can help choose appropriate stops.

What happens if someone becomes ill or is injured during the tour?

Tell the guide immediately. For a serious injury, breathing difficulty or another emergency, call Aruba ambulance/fire service on 911; police emergencies use 100. Do not delay urgent help while trying to reach the office. For a minor problem, the team can discuss a rest, return to your accommodation or another practical change. If part of the group continues, that must be workable and the affected person must have appropriate support.

Are drones, professional photography or special permits allowed?

You can bring a camera, and we are happy to plan photo stops. Drone use requires separate checks with Aruba's Department of Civil Aviation and the relevant land or attraction operator; bringing a drone on the tour is not permission to fly it. Arikok's published visitor rules prohibit drones. Arrange any aviation permission, commercial-shoot access or specialist permit in advance, and respect people, wildlife and restricted airspace.

Are there wildlife, conservation or cultural-respect rules we should know?

Give wild turtles and other animals space: do not chase, touch or feed them. At animal attractions, feed only as their staff directs. Leave coral, shells, stones, plants and archaeological material where they belong, particularly in protected areas. Do not touch cave drawings, disturb bats, drive on dunes or climb restricted bridges and structures. Follow marked access routes and local signs, take your litter away, and respect worshippers at the chapel.

Getting in touch
How can we ask a question before or after booking?

before or after booking. The note form sends your message to our team; include your email address so we can reply. You do not have to book first.

Does sending a question create or reserve a booking?

No. Sending a note asks the team a question. It does not reserve a van, save a card or create a tour booking.

How can we email the team?

Reply to your booking confirmation or to reach the Aruba Your Way team. You can also use the email button in the contact section.

What number can we call, and what are your phone hours?

Call (305) 424-8326, 8am–4pm daily, Aruba time. The number is also shown in the contact section. Aruba stays on UTC−04:00 all year and does not change for daylight saving, so the difference from your home time may change seasonally. We try to answer on holidays too. Calls outside those hours may not be answered; use your assigned guide's contact for an imminent pickup and local emergency services for an emergency.

Can we contact you on WhatsApp?

Yes. with your question and booking reference if you have already booked. Our team will respond as soon as possible. WhatsApp is not a guaranteed 24-hour emergency line.

Do we have to use WhatsApp to take the tour?

No. WhatsApp is convenient for communicating with your guide, but you can also use text messages or phone calls. Keep your booking contact number reachable. If you will not have mobile service ashore, tell us before the tour so pickup instructions can be agreed while you still have access to email or Wi-Fi.

How quickly will you answer a question?

We aim to reply as quickly as possible, often within an hour, usually within 12 hours and with a target of no later than 24 hours. Overnight messages can take longer than daytime ones. For a same-day issue or a deadline that is approaching, call during office hours rather than relying only on a message.

Will we receive an automatic email copy of a question we send?

After your note is sent successfully, the page shows a confirmation. The question form does not send a separate automatic email acknowledgment or copy. Our team replies to the email address you provide.

What details should we include when contacting you about a booking?

Include your booking reference, lead guest name, tour date and the issue or requested change. Do not include a full card number or security code.

Can we send attachments, route screenshots or a location pin?

Yes. You can send a route screenshot, location pin, photo or other useful attachment by replying to our email or using WhatsApp. The website's short question form does not have an attachment upload. Send only what we need for the arrangement, and never include full card details, security codes or unnecessary identity documents.

Help with the booking form
What if the booking form says my card was declined?

Follow the error message, check your card details and retry after a definite card failure. A card error alone is not a booking confirmation. Contact the team if the status is unclear.

What if the bank verification code expires or we cancel its authentication prompt?

If authentication fails or is canceled, follow the message in the same booking flow to retry the bank's secure prompt. An expired code does not by itself mean a booking was created. Contact us if you are unsure about the outcome.

What if the page says the original request is still being checked?

Do not create another booking in a new session to get around that message. Contact the team so it can check the original request and avoid a duplicate booking.

What if we lose internet or close the browser after submitting?

The booking flow can recover some interrupted submissions, but a closed page alone does not prove success or failure. Check for a confirmation and contact the team if unsure rather than submitting another booking immediately.

What if we click Book my tour twice?

The booking flow has duplicate-submission protection and reuses the original request while its outcome is being resolved. If you see an unclear status, contact the team instead of trying to bypass that protection.

What if the card fields never load?

Check your connection and open the official HTTPS page at the official van-tour page. If no booking has been submitted, reloading may help. If you already submitted and the outcome is uncertain, contact the team before starting again.

Why might the form reject our date, time, guest count or price?

Online bookings need at least 24 hours’ notice in Aruba time, 4–8 whole hours, at least one adult fare category, at most 10 guests per van, with one to four vans per booking, and a pickup time in 15-minute steps. Your total is checked before your booking is confirmed.

What country code should we use for our phone number?

Select United States or Canada for +1, Aruba for +297, or the rest-of-world option and enter your country code. The form formats the national number for readability.

What if the question form says the note could not be sent?

Your words remain available in the form after an error so you can retry. If it continues to fail, use the phone or WhatsApp contact option. The question form accepts a message of 5–3,000 characters.

Your privacy & personal information
What personal information does the booking collect?

The form collects the lead guest’s name, email and phone, tour date/time, passenger counts, duration, chosen stops, pickup/drop-off details if supplied, and an optional note. Stripe handles the card fields separately.

Who can access the saved-card information?

Only authorized staff responsible for payments can access the saved-card information and handle charging. Our booking system shows masked details and a Stripe reference, not your full card number or security code.

What information will be shared with our guide or a partner company?

To arrange the tour, we share the lead guest's name and contact method, date and pickup time, pickup location, tour length, passenger count, selected stops and relevant special requests with the assigned guide or fulfillment partner. We share practical information needed for the outing, not your full card number or security code. Tell us if a request contains sensitive information so we can discuss what the guide actually needs to know.

How can we correct or delete personal information or remove a saved card?

Contact us by email or phone to request a correction, deletion review or removal of a saved payment method. We will need to verify that the request relates to your booking. If a tour is still upcoming, discuss an alternative guarantee before removing the card. We cannot promise that every financial or transaction record can be erased immediately, and removing a card is not the same as canceling the tour.

Will you use our email for marketing or share it with advertisers?

We use your booking contact information to arrange and provide your tour, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. Necessary service providers, such as the assigned guide and Stripe, receive the information needed to deliver your booking.

Will you take or publish pictures of our family?

We will ask for consent before taking or publishing identifiable photos of your family for our own use. You can decline, and a guide helping you take a photo on your own phone does not give us permission to post it. Tell the team if you want to discuss a photo already shared. For children, involve the responsible parent or guardian.

After your tour
What should we do if we leave something in the van?

Call your guide as soon as you notice: if they are still nearby, a quick return may be possible. Otherwise contact the team by email, WhatsApp or phone with the tour date, booking reference and a description of the item. We will help check the van and arrange recovery if it is found. Delivery, shipping and any costs must be agreed; they are not automatically included.

How can we make a complaint or report a problem with our guide?

Email or call the team and tell us your booking reference, tour date and what happened. If the problem is occurring during the tour, raise it with the guide or office while there may still be time to put it right. Our manager handles complaints and will review the facts with you and the guide or partner. Use emergency services immediately for urgent danger.

What if the tour did not match what we booked?

Please contact us and explain which part of the tour differed from what was agreed. Include the booking reference and any relevant messages or details. We will investigate and discuss an appropriate response. There is no automatic refund for every dissatisfaction, and a weather-related change of stop is different from a service not being delivered as booked.

Where can we leave a review or read independent reviews?

You can read independent guest feedback on our Tripadvisor listing. After your tour, you are also welcome to ask our team for a review link.

Can you send our guide’s name or help us contact them afterward?

Your guide's name and contact details are provided the day before your tour. If you cannot find that message afterward, contact the team and we can help with an appropriate follow-up, such as a compliment, lost item or another booking. We do not publish a private staff contact directory.

Can we book the same guide for another tour?

Yes. Ask for the guide by name when arranging your next tour, and we will do our best to match you if they are available. Contact the company to coordinate the booking and confirm the arrangements.

Can you help with airport transfers or another Aruba Your Way service?

Aruba Your Way also offers airport transfers, private Jeep tours, yacht cruises, private chefs and massage/spa services. Each has its own price, availability and terms; the van-tour price does not include them. to coordinate another service.

Can we get a copy of our confirmation or receipt after the trip?

Yes. Contact us with your booking reference, lead guest name and tour date, and we can help resend the confirmation or retrieve the receipt. The confirmation is sent when the online booking succeeds; the receipt relates to a successful payment. For an invoice correction, tell us what needs changing and we will review it.
